Pointed, Copper-Coated Arc Gouging Electrodes
Pointed air carbon arc electrodes are suitable for cutting or gouging scrap metal, removing faulty welds, and other general purpose cutting or gouging applications with manual air carbon arc torches. The electrodes' copper coating improves their electrical conductivity for greater cutting efficiency and cooler operation than uncoated electrodes. The coating also helps maintain the electrodes' diameter at the arc point.

Jointed, Copper-Coated Arc Gouging Electrodes
Jointed air carbon arc electrodes can be fed continuously and minimize stub loss in production cutting or gouging operations with automated air carbon arc torches. Each electrode has a connector at its tip that attaches to another electrode that is being fed through an automated torch to allow for continuous feeding and avoid having to stop the cutting process to swap electrodes. The electrodes' copper coating improves their electrical conductivity for greater cutting efficiency and cooler operation than uncoated electrodes. The coating also helps maintain the electrodes' diameter at the arc point.
