Industrial and process pressure gauges typically have threaded stems for mounting with round plastic or metal cases with an analog dial face or digital display. Dial industrial pressure gauges measure low and high pressures as well as vacuum and compound ranges. Digital industrial and process pressure gauges have a digital LCD display that shows numeric readings in a number of selectable engineering pressure units. Sanitary pressure gauges, also known as Triclamp or 3-A pressure gauges, are used in food, beverage, dairy, and pharmaceutical applications where high standards of sanitation and washdown conditions must be met. Pressure gauges provided with a paired external diaphragm seal create an impermeable barrier between the process media and the wetted parts of the gauge itself.
