Receptacle & GFCI Testers & Analyzers

Available2 products

Receptacle and ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) testers indicate problems with electrical outlets and receptacles that may lead to shock, fires, or other harmful conditions. They plug into or otherwise connect to standard outlets and use colored lights to identify the presence of electrical hazards or when receptacles are in proper working order. Select testers also measure the spring tension of outlets to ensure tight and secure connections and that critical equipment remains plugged into the outlet without becoming loose and falling out. These handheld tools help electricians and contractors identify unbalanced electrical currents, spikes, or issues related to installation and wiring that could potentially lead to dangerous conditions.

GFCI Testers
GFCI testers plug into or otherwise connect to outlets and power receptacles to measure the time it takes to trip the ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) device. These compact units confirm that outlets are in good working order and that live, neutral, and ground wires are connected properly.
