Order LookupCircuit Breaker Lockout Devices
Available90 products
Circuit breaker lockouts keep breakers in the off position while equipment is serviced. After the breaker is secured in the off position, a padlock is required to ensure the lockout isn't removed by unauthorized personnel. These devices are an integral part of a facility lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedure designed to meet the OSHA standard for the Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout).
Clamp-On Circuit Breaker Lockouts
Clamp-on circuit breaker lockouts attach to a circuit breaker switch to hold it in the off position. A lock is then looped through a hole in the handle to secure the lockout.

Cross-Bar Circuit Breaker Lockouts
Cross-bar circuit breaker lockouts secure large flip switches. Permanent brackets install on the sides of the switch. A bar then slides through the brackets on each side of the switch and a lock is put in place to prevent the bar from being removed. Cross-bar circuit breaker lockouts are also used on critical equipment to prevent it from being turned off inadvertently.
