Fire and rescue fans remove smoke, heat, and other fire byproducts from burning or smoldering buildings to improve the working conditions for firefighters and other rescue personnel in the buildings.
Smoke Ejectors
Smoke ejectors are box-shaped fans that use negative pressure to pull smoke out of a burning or smoldering building. They are sometimes called utility fans. They can be flipped to push fresh air into the building in positive pressure applications. These fans plug into an outlet and require electricity to operate.

Duct Hoses for Smoke Ejectors
These flexible hoses attach to the inlet or outlet of compatible smoke ejectors. When attached to the inlet, they carry fresh air from outside into the smoke ejector. When attached to the outlet, they carry exhaust air from a smoke ejector to an outside area where the air will be vented. The hoses can be compressed to save space when not in use.
