54 products
Safety harness accessories attach to or are used with safety harnesses to modify the functions or intended applications of the harness, to add extra safety features to the harness, or to provide comfort or convenience to people wearing the harness. These safety harness accessories include suspension trauma relief straps that relieve pressure on a worker's legs after a fall. They also include holders that keep necessary tools and equipment close at hand for workers wearing a harness as well as chairs, seat slings, and replacement padding that can increase the wearer's comfort while working in a harness.
Suspension Trauma Relief Straps
Suspension trauma relief straps are used to relieve pressure and improve circulation in the legs and hips of a worker who is suspended in a safety harness while he or she awaits rescue after a fall. The straps attach to the safety harness so that they make a loop beneath the worker's feet that the worker can stand on. The worker can bend their knees and use their muscles to balance on the strap, which helps prevent serious suspension trauma injuries.

D-Ring Extenders
D-ring extenders are lengths of strap that connect to the D-ring on the back of a safety harness to make it easier for people with limited range of motion in their shoulders to reach the connection point on the back of the harness. The extenders decrease the amount of time it takes for workers to attach shock-absorbing lanyards and self-retracting lifelines to the back D-ring of their safety harness. When calculating fall distance for the worker's fall-arrest system, the extra length of the D-ring extender must be accounted for.

Storage Bags
Storage bags are used to store safety harnesses or other fall-protection equipment to keep them clean, organized, and protected from damage when not in use. They help keep the harnesses or equipment in good condition so that they continue to pass inspection for as long as possible.
Bosun’s Chairs
Bosun's chairs (also known as boatswain chairs) allow workers to sit and work while suspended or lowered in a safety harness. They always attach overhead, and they are compatible with any harness. Bosun's chairs help keep suspended workers comfortable by relieving pressure on their legs and hips and by taking some of the weight of the workers' equipment off their bodies. Bosun's chairs attach to a full-body safety harnesses as part of a fall-arrest system. They do not provide fall protection on their own. They are commonly used by window washers, painters, and workers who are performing repairs on structures and ships.

Tool & Equipment Holders
Tool and equipment holders are pouches that attach to safety harnesses to hold workers' tools as they work at heights. They keep the workers' hands free for their work and ensure their tools are close at hand. The tools can be tethered to the holder to prevent them from falling if they're dropped, which can create a safety hazard.

Seat Slings
Seat slings allow workers to sit and work while suspended or lowered in a safety harness. They also can be used to help support suspended workers who are working in place while connected to positioning lanyards. Seat slings are compatible with specific models of safety harnesses that have appropriate connections for attaching the seat sling to the harness. They help keep suspended workers comfortable by relieving pressure on their legs and hips and by taking some of the weight of the workers’ equipment off their body. Seat slings attach to a full-body safety harnesses as part of a fall-arrest system. They do not provide fall protection on their own. They are commonly used by workers who climb towers, oil rigs and derricks, and windmills.
Safety Harness Belly Pads for Oil Rig Workers
These belly pads attach to safety harnesses worn by oil rig workers on oil and gas rig platforms. They supply cushioning for the workers' torsos to help keep them comfortable while wearing their harnesses for long periods of time.
