14 products
Freestanding anchors are used near edges or in open spaces when surface penetration and overhead anchor options are not available. Mast anchors are rolled into place and have a counterweight to form a temporary anchor, and can be moved to a new location as needed. Pole anchors provide a tie-off point around vehicles and machinery. Rail anchors provide an extremely high anchor point and are used around rail cars. Anchor points allow workers to attach a lanyard or self-retracting lifeline (SRL) as part a personal fall protection system when working at height.
Freestanding Pole Anchors
Freestanding pole anchors (sometimes called boom anchors) provide a tie-off point for personal fall protection equipment when working around vehicles, large trucks, and machinery. Pole anchors are freestanding, so they can be moved to a new location as needed. They are held in place using vehicle weight, eliminating the need for a weighted base. They are height-adjustable and the boom arms rotate to minimize fall distance.

Freestanding Mast Anchors
Freestanding mast anchors have an arm (or mast) that extends over the edge to provide an overhead anchor point for a lanyard or SRL that is used as part of a personal fall protection system. The wheeled base allows the anchor to be moved to the required location and a counterweight balances the unit.

Freestanding Rail Anchors
Freestanding rail anchors are permanent structures that provide a tie-off point for personal fall protection equipment when working around rail cars, large trucks, and machinery. These systems fasten to the ground or are installed using a counterweighted base. They provide an extremely high anchor point and have an overhead track that allows the SRL to slide as the worker moves, providing the height and mobility needed to work in rail yards.
