These free-standing units can be installed in open areas away from walls and other structural features. Hazardous location equipment is installed where flammable vapor, combustible dust, or ignitable flyings are present. It keeps arcs and sparks contained so explosive substances present in the air won't have a source of ignition. Heat-trace elements wrap around pipes and connect to a power source to keep water temperatures above freezing so water flows freely.
