Portable eyewash stations flush harmful chemicals and contaminants from the eyes. They have a tank that holds potable water so they can be moved around a worksite and don't require a plumbed water source. These ANSI-complaint showers hold enough water for a 15-minute flush. Portable stations are used on construction sites, remote work locations, or in parts of a facility where plumbed water is not available. The ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 standard meets OSHA requirements for safety showers and eyewash stations when they're used as an integral part of a fully compliant installation and inspection plan.

These hazardous location portable eyewash stations have heated jackets that plug into a power source to prevent water from freezing and keep water flowing freely. The stainless steel tanks resist corrosion and have handles for moving around a worksite. Tanks can be refilled when empty. Hazardous location equipment is used where flammable vapor, combustible dust, or ignitable flyings are present. It keeps arcs and sparks contained so explosive substances present in the air won't have a source of ignition.
