UHMW polyethylene sheets and bars, also known as UHMW-PE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) sheets and bars, are an impact- and corrosion-resistant material that has a continuous-use temperature range of up to 180°F (82°C). These sheets and bars keep their physical properties at temperatures as low as -22°F (-30°C). They're durable and do not absorb moisture. These sheets and bars are commonly used for food handling solutions, conveyance mechanisms, and material handling and packing applications where durability is required.
