12 products
Well points are perforated cylinders used to create shallow wells by driving the cone-shaped end of the well point into the soil instead of digging a well. A drive cap is screwed onto the threaded end of the well point before it is driven into the soil to prevent damage to the threads on the well point. Well points, well drive caps, and couplings are for use in locations with soft soil and where the water table is close to the surface.
Well Points
These well points are perforated cylinders used to create shallow wells by driving the cone-shaped end of the well point into the soil instead of digging a well. The perforations in the cylinder allow water to enter and collect inside the cylinder. A screen on the inside of the cylinder keeps out coarse sand and gravel. A drop pipe is inserted in the cylinder so the collected water can be pumped up to the surface.
Well Point Drive Caps & Couplings
These well point drive caps and couplings are used with well points to create a shallow well without digging. The well point drive caps are screwed onto the threaded end of the well point to protect the threads from damage when the well point is driven into the ground. Threaded well point couplings allow sections of threaded pipe to be connected to the well point. As the well point is driven into the ground additional sections of pipe are connected to the well point and driven into the ground to increase the depth of the well.
