Round belts route through drive systems with twists and turns. They are soft and pliable and must stretch to maintain contact with belt pulleys to achieve the necessary tension and operate effectively. Round belts are suitable for serpentine and quarter turn drives where the belt is twisted at 90°. They can be cut and welded together or joined with a connector to fit the length needed in a drive system. Round belts are used in a variety of power transmission applications such as conveyors, packaging machines, imaging systems, and industrial sewing machines.
