Air Cylinders

539 products
Choose from a broad air cylinder selection at Grainger. Whether the piston is a disc or a cylinder, each pneumatic cylinder is designed to transfer force to move an object when compressed gas expands if the gas is at a greater pressure than the atmospheric pressure. This powerful mechanical force powers pneumatic cylinders to move a piston in a specific direction. Shop a large air cylinder selection at Grainger today.

Double Acting Aluminum NFPA Air Cylinder, Bottom Tap Mount

Double Acting Aluminum NFPA Air Cylinder, Bottom Tap Mount
These permanently lubricated, heavy-duty, double-acting air cylinders are designed for applications requiring guided movement when it is critical that the piston rod not rotate. Two piston rods prevent rods from twisting and turning off the axis, providing reliable, repeatable linear motion with no need for external guides. Cylinder bearing wear is also minimized by the nonrotating twin-rod design. The high-tensile strength aluminum cylinders have chrome-plated, polished steel piston rods, high-strength steel tie rods, cast-iron rod bearings, and U-cup piston cylinders.
