Ball valves control the flow of a liquid or gas within a system, opening and closing the valve port via manual, electric, or pneumatic activation. Electrically actuated ball valves work within an automated process control system to open and close the valve port and do not require manual activation. Manual ball valves require direct user activation to open and close the valve port. Pneumatically actuated ball valves use an air compressor to automatically open and close the valve port.
