Stainless Steel Inline Ball Valves, 1-Piece Valve Structure
Stainless steel valves are constructed of an alloy of iron and chromium. They are more malleable than carbon steel, and are very resistant to rust and corrosion.
316 Stainless Steel offers higher corrosion resistance than 304 stainless steel. It includes up to 3% molybdenum, which helps prevent corrosion from many industrial chemicals and solvents.
CF8M Stainless Steel is similar to 316 Stainless Steel, but is cast rather than wrought. It is slightly magnetic due to its ferrite content.
