PTFE Film Stock
  • TM

    Grainger Choice

  • GRAINGER APPROVED
  • Multiple product options available

This versatile, nontoxic plastomer is widely used in the high-tech market. It offers high thermal, chemical, and solvent resistance, high dielectric and antistick properties, and very low coefficient of friction. Low thermal conductivity is retained despite temperature variation, making PTFE a good insulator. Light and weather resistant, it remains stable even after long-term exposure.

UHMW Sheet Stock
  • Multiple product options available

UHMW (Ultra-High Molecular Weight) polyethylene is moisture-, odor-, and stain-resistant. It's great for wear applications, especially in contact with metals, and it can be easily machined with ordinary woodworking tools. It is widely used in industrial applications such as chute linings, dock bumpers, paper machine parts, and conveyor wear strips.

PPS Sheet Stock
  • POLYMERSHAPES
  • Inherently flame retardant, this material offers the broadest chemical resistance of any of the high-performance polymers. Inert to steam, strong bases, fuels, and acids, PPS has no known solvents below 392°F. It machines to tight tolerances, and offers minimal moisture absorption and very low linear thermal expansion coefficient. Use it for structural applications in corrosive environments that require precise tolerances, or as an alternative to PEEK in lower-temperature environments.
