These flange gaskets are made of graphite which has high resistance to heat and chemicals. Graphite gaskets are commonly used in furnace and boiler systems, as well as chemical processing and power plants.

Graphite Ring Gaskets with Oil-Resistant Buna-N Binder
These graphite ring gaskets have a Buna-N binder for additional resistance to oil, water, and mild chemicals. Ring gaskets sit against the internal edge of the flange, around the pipe bore, and inside the bolts. They are typically positioned onto the raised surface of a raised-face (RF) flange. Ring gaskets install by dropping them into the flange fitting without fully disassembling the joint.
