Chemical hose assemblies consist of lengths of hose that have fittings installed on both ends for connecting the hoses to equipment. Also known as chemical transfer hose assemblies, they are used to move chemicals from one location to another and are made from materials that resist damage when exposed to specific kinds of chemicals. These hoses are used for applications such as transferring acids, solvents, and petroleum products to or from storage containers in industrial plants and spraying pesticides, fertilizers, and paint.

PVC Chemical Hose Assemblies with (M)NPT Fittings
These polyvinyl chloride (PVC) chemical hose assemblies are used for spraying chemicals in agricultural applications and commercial weed-control and pest-control applications. These hoses have male NPT (National Pipe Taper) fittings on their ends. The fittings have tapered threads that create a tight seal when connected to compatible equipment. The hoses' tube is made from a blend of PVC and polyurethane, which provides excellent resistance to hydrocarbon-based lawn-care and pest-control chemicals. The hoses' ribbed PVC cover offers high abrasion resistance, and it is pinpricked to allow gases or vapors trapped in the hose carcass to escape so they don't create a blister in the cover of the hose.
