1 product
Poly cord strapping is made of polyester and has embedded cords that provide more strength and higher resistance to shock and tearing than standard polyester strapping, and is used to secure lumber, bricks and stone, metal, and other heavy loads. It's similar in strength to steel strapping but is safer to use and is more flexible for using around edges and irregular shapes. It also does not scratch or mar surfaces and is more resistant to shock. It won't rust and withstands temperature changes, rain, snow, and exposure to other elements when used outdoors. The ends are secured using a handle tie or sealed with a strapping buckle, seal, friction weld, or heat. Apply and seal strapping using a strapping machine or manually-operated tools.
Overall Length
Woven Poly Cord Strapping
Woven heavy-duty poly cord strapping has fibers that run the length of the cord, plus fibers that run across its width, making it a good choice for securing bundles of bricks, stone, and steel. Fibers that run the length of the strapping provide resistance to snapping and tearing, and the fibers that run across the strapping provide added strength and resistance to breaking and splitting. This nonmarring cord is used to secure heavier loads than nonwoven poly cord. It flexes around irregular shapes and won't rust. It is secured using a tensioner tool that tightens the strapping and seals a buckle.
