Stackers

16 products
Stackers have forks that slide underneath or into openings on pallets, skids, and containers, and they have a hydraulic pump or hand crank that lifts the loaded forks. Also called pallet stackers, these wheeled vehicles move heavy loads and lift them in order to stack them or place them onto storage racks or other high surfaces in warehouses, manufacturing plants, construction sites, and other industrial settings. Stackers need less maintenance and can maneuver more easily in tight spaces than forklifts, and they don't require certification to operate. Manual stackers are completely operated by hand and require less maintenance than powered stackers. Fully or partially powered stackers take less physical effort to operate than manual stackers. Unless noted otherwise, stackers are for use on firm, level surfaces because they may roll back if used on inclines.

Powered Fork-Over Stackers

Powered Fork-Over Stackers
Powered fork-over stackers have an electric motor that both propels them and raises and lowers their forks. This reduces the physical effort it takes to operate them and move them over long distances, and it allows them to travel on inclined surfaces such as sloped floors or ramps. Also known as electric stackers and walkie stackers, powered stackers allow loads to be loaded, lifted, and moved over long distances more quickly than other types of stackers. Their motor is powered by a rechargeable battery. Fork-over stackers have their outrigger legs positioned directly underneath their forks. They have a more compact footprint than straddle stackers and counterbalanced stackers and are used for lifting and stacking operations, as portable lift tables, and for feeding materials into machines.

Powered-Lift/Manual-Push Straddle Stackers

Powered-Lift/Manual-Push Straddle Stackers
Powered-lift/manual-push straddle stackers can raise loads faster and with less physical effort than manual stackers. Also called semi-electric straddle stackers, they have an electric motor that activates their hydraulic pump to raise pallets, skids, and bulk containers. The motor is powered by a rechargeable battery. These stackers must be pushed or pulled by hand, so they are best suited for applications where loads will be moved short distances. Straddle stackers have their outrigger legs positioned outside of their forks to stabilize the stackers. When a load is placed on the stackers' forks, its weight is distributed directly above these legs. The stackers' forks can completely reach the ground, which allows straddle stackers to lift any type of pallet or skid as long as there is sufficient clearance between it and the stackers' legs. Straddle stackers can maneuver in tight spaces such as aisles, loading docks, and store rooms.

Powered-Lift/Manual-Push Fork-Over Stackers
Powered-lift/manual-push fork-over stackers can raise loads faster and with less physical effort than manual stackers. Also called semi-electric fork-over stackers, they have an electric motor that activates their hydraulic pump to raise open-bottom pallets, skids, or containers. The motor is powered by a rechargeable battery. These stackers must be pushed or pulled by hand, so they are best suited for applications where loads will be moved short distances. Fork-over stackers have their outrigger legs positioned directly underneath their forks. Powered Counterbalanced Stackers

Powered Counterbalanced Stackers
Powered counterbalanced stackers have an electric motor that both propels them and raises and lowers their forks. Counterbalanced stackers have more weight behind their forks than fork-over and straddle stackers and don't require outrigger legs to stabilize them. This lets them get closer to loads than fork-over and straddle stackers. It also allows them to pick up closed-bottom and open-bottom pallets and skids and place them in areas where stackers with projecting legs could not fit. They are used for racking, stacking, truck unloading, and feeding materials into machines.
