Quiet-roll medical plate casters have precision ball bearings that provide smooth, quiet rolling, which helps reduce noise that can disturb patients in medical settings. The casters have wheels with soft treads that help prevent damage to floors. They also have thread guards that keep thread and other debris from getting into the casters' axles and damaging them. These plate casters have a mounting plate that attaches to the bottom of beds, gurneys, IV poles, maintenance carts, food-service equipment, and other items used in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, pharmacies, laboratories, and similar medical facilities. They allow the equipment to roll, which reduces the effort it takes to move or reposition the equipment. Quiet-roll medical plate casters are swivel casters that can rotate 360° to allow equipment to change directions while rolling.

Corrosion- and heat-resistant medical plate casters have thermoplastic wheels and stainless-steel frames and bearings that resist corrosion and can withstand intermittent exposure to high temperatures up to 250°F. They are suitable for use on cages, carts, racks, cabinets, laboratory fixtures, and other equipment that will be used in areas where they will be exposed to high heat, water, and chemicals for cleaning and sterilization, such as medical, veterinary, laboratory, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, and food-service facilities.
