Pallet rack kits include the necessary parts for building a pallet rack to provide organized storage for palletized loads or large containers. The racks make use of vertical space and increase storage density in warehouses, distribution centers, and other storage facilities. Loads are moved onto and off of the racks with forklifts or similar vehicles. Each rack includes vertical uprights that connect to horizontal beams to create multiple shelf levels. The vertical distance between the beams on a pallet rack impacts the rack's load capacity. As the vertical spacing between the beams increases, the rack's load capacity decreases. Starter units can be used on their own as standalone racks. Add-on units can be connected to starter or add-on units to create multi-unit pallet racking systems, and they cannot be used on their own as standalone pallet racks.
