Bulk rack shelving units make efficient use of vertical space in storage areas and typically provide higher load capacities and more space per shelf level than comparable standard or boltless metal shelving units. They are used for storing heavy or bulky equipment and tools that will be stocked and picked by hand in warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and other industrial areas. Bulk racks consist of vertical uprights and horizontal beams that attach to the uprights to create shelf levels. Decking can be installed over the beams to distribute the weight of items placed on the decking across the beams.
