Bulk rack shelving units make efficient use of vertical space in storage areas and typically provide higher load capacities and more space per shelf level than comparable standard or boltless metal shelving units. They are used for storing heavy or bulky equipment and tools that will be stocked and picked by hand in warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and other industrial areas. Bulk racks consist of vertical uprights and horizontal beams that attach to the uprights to create shelf levels. These racks are compatible with bulk rack components from the same manufacturer.
Medium-Duty Lock-Beam Wire Decking Bulk Racks
Medium-duty bulk racks generally are sturdier and can hold heavier items than light-duty bulk racks. These racks include beam clips with locking tabs that help prevent the beams from moving as loads are moved onto and off of the racks. The racks come with wire decking that has openings that allow air to circulate through it for ventilation. Water can pass through the decking if sprinkler systems turn on. The decking installs over the racks' beams to distribute the weight of items placed on the decking across the beams. Bulk racks are used for storing heavy or bulky equipment and tools that will be stocked and picked by hand in warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and other industrial areas.
