Bulk rack shelving units make efficient use of vertical space in storage areas and typically provide higher load capacities and more space per shelf level than comparable standard or boltless metal shelving units. They are used for storing heavy or bulky equipment and tools that will be stocked and picked by hand in warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and other industrial areas. Bulk racks consist of vertical uprights and horizontal beams that attach to the uprights to create shelf levels. These racks are compatible with bulk rack components from the same manufacturer.
Light-Duty Clean-Appearance Ribbed Steel Decking Bulk Racks
These light-duty bulk racks are suitable for basic storage of bulky items. Their posts have a smooth front surface that hides holes and hardware for a clean appearance when the rack is viewed from the front. The racks come with ribbed steel decking that provides a solid surface that prevents items from falling through it. Ribbed decking has ridges that create spaces for users to grab items on the decking without pinching their fingers. Steel decking is more resistant to damage than particleboard decking and will not splinter. The decking installs over the racks' beams to distribute the weight of items placed on the decking across the beams. Bulk racks are used for storing bulky equipment and tools that will be stocked and picked by hand in warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and other industrial areas.
