The racks have multiple storage levels with skate wheels, rollers, or decking that allow items at the back of the racks to glide forward as items at the front of the racks are removed, which boosts efficiency in inventory and order-picking tasks. Flow racks are used in the food and beverage industry, warehouses, and other applications requiring high-density, high-volume storage and movement of the same or similar products. They support storage and inventory initiatives such as first-in, first-out (FIFO). Starter units can be used on their own as standalone racks. Add-on units can be connected to existing starter units or add-on units to create multi-unit flow rack systems, and they cannot be used on their own as standalone flow racks.
