These plastic drum bungs are not susceptible to corrosion and are ideal for containers storing liquids and substances such as water-based paints, detergents, and food products. Bungs are threaded plugs that install in bungholes on drums to create liquid-tight seals that stop dirt, dust, and contaminants from entering. Plastic bungs are less likely to damage the threads of bungholes than steel bungs if overtightened or used repeatedly.

Pressure Relief Plastic Drum Bungs
These pressure-relief plastic drum bungs automatically release pressure buildup to prevent damage to drums. Also known as drum vent plugs, their threaded bodies install in bungholes and provide pressure or vacuum relief for drums that undergo sudden temperature changes or store liquids that are volatile, flammable, or evaporate. Bungs create liquid-tight seals that stop dirt, dust, and contaminants from entering. Plastic bungs are less likely than steel bungs to damage the threads of bungholes if overtightened or used repeatedly.
