Drum dollies are wheeled support rings or platforms that are positioned underneath drums and overpacks to reduce effort when moving them from one place to another along relatively flat ground. Also known as band dollies and drum trollies, they provide more support for large containers and are easier to maneuver than hand trucks, and they do not require the containers to be leaned back and balanced. In most cases, containers need to be lifted onto the dollies manually or with a lifting device.

Open-Deck Drum Dollies with Clamping Support
These dollies consist of a support ring with a band clamp that can be tightened to hold the drum securely on the ring. Also known as band dollies, these dollies are typically used for moving smaller drums. The dollies have a large open space at their center that prevents debris from collecting on the dollies and allows them to be hung when not in use. The support ring has a raised edge that keeps drums from sliding off. These dollies weigh less and are easier to carry than solid-deck dollies.
