7 products
Drum lifting hooks and slings attach to cranes, hoists, and forklifts to raise, move, and position drums. They help increase efficiency and safety in warehouses, shipping, and manufacturing facilities by eliminating the need for workers to haul the drums manually.
For Drum Capacity
Drum Lifting Hooks
Drum lifting hooks are high-strength for heavy loads, extreme temperatures, and abrasive environments that would damage or destroy lifting slings. Also known as barrel hooks, they have curved beveled ends that fit under drum chimes and create a tight grip between the drum and hooks when lifted. Vertical drum lifting hooks attach to the tops of drums, making them ideal for situations where drums are placed tightly together. Horizontal drum lifting hooks attach to the top and bottom chimes to move drums on their side. Typical uses for drum lifting hooks include machine shops, construction sites, foundries, and shipping yards.
Horizontal Drum Orientation
Drum Lifting Cradles
Drum lifting cradles for plastic and steel drums minimize wear on the drum and prevent them from tipping during transport. Also known as drum lifters with under-drum supports, they provide balance and support on all sides of the drum to keep them in their original orientation. They have frames that secure around the drum's body, platforms where the drum sits, and arms that attach to hooks on cranes and hoists. Typical uses include outdoor applications where the drum needs to stay upright or may encounter swaying from wind or shifting contents, such as construction sites, shipping ports, and production facilities.
Adapters for Lifting 30 Gallon Drums
These adapters fit around 30 gal. drums to make them compatible with lifting products that work with 55 gal. drums.
