The jack chains are suitable for light residential and commercial applications. They are not intended for lifting applications. The finishes help to resist corrosion.

Double Loop Chain, Not for Lifting
Double loop chains feature weldless engineering that combines strength and flexibility, along with lightweight construction and neat appearance. They are all-purpose chains, and are suitable for a wide variety of uses including swing sets, animal chains and hammocks. They are not intended for lifting.
NOTE: Do not use double loop chain smaller than 1/0 for swing sets.
