47 products
These linear fluorescent lights mount to flat surfaces in hazardous locations with enough space for the roughly 4-ft. long housing. They use 4-ft. light bulbs with a base type that matches the fixture ballast. They are commonly used in facilities with other fluorescent light fixtures where frequent bulb changes are expected as part of regular maintenance. Hazardous location lighting fixtures illuminate areas with flammable, combustible, or ignitable materials. They keep arcs and sparks contained so that the fixtures won't cause a fire or explosion. They carry class and division ratings as defined by NEC and OSHA for use in locations where specific hazards are present in normal or abnormal conditions. Class I and II fixtures also carry group ratings designating use in locations with specific types of gas, vapor, or dust.

For Flammable Vapors & Gases; Escaped from Closed Systems
These Class I fixtures illuminate Division 2 hazardous locations where flammable gases or vapors are normally confined or not present in ignitable concentrations. Their group ratings designate use in locations with specific types of gas or vapor. They prevent arcs or sparks within the fixture from igniting gases or vapors on or near the fixture. Flammable gases and vapors are Class I hazards commonly found in petroleum refineries, fuel dispensaries, sewage treatment plants, and processes using chemicals, paints, coatings, or sealants.

Flammable gases and vapors are Class I hazards commonly found in petroleum refineries, fuel dispensaries, sewage treatment plants, and processes using chemicals, paints, coatings, or sealants. Combustible dusts are Class II hazards commonly found in pharmaceutical factories, coal-handling plants, grain elevators, and plants processing flour, feed, or powder.

For Combustible Dust, Flammable Vapors & Gases; Present During Normal Operations
These Class I and II fixtures illuminate Division 1 hazardous locations where flammable gases or vapors and/or combustible dusts are normally present. Their group ratings designate use in locations with specific types of gas, vapor, or dust. Also called explosion-proof fixtures, they contain explosions that may trigger within the fixture and prevent arcs or sparks within the fixture from igniting gases, vapors, or dusts on or near the fixture.
