2 products
Disinfection light fixtures install permanently to deliver UV light to decontaminate air or surfaces in fixed indoor spaces. They supplement other cleaning methods to reduce exposure to viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens and help limit the spread of infections. The number of lights needed to disinfect an area depends on the size of the target area and the dose of light (its wavelength, distance from the target area, and duration of use). Installation should be done by qualified professionals to comply with safety standards. UV fixtures disinfect retail spaces, manufacturing facilities, classrooms, gymnasiums, and other large open spaces and high-traffic areas. Caution: UV-C light can harm skin and eyes. Lights must be used as directed to avoid injuries.

GE Lumination UV-A LED Disinfection Lights
GE Lumination disinfection troffers install in drop ceiling grids to emit white LED light for illumination and UV-A LED light to inactivate bacteria and fungi on surfaces. Wired or wireless controls can be added to operate the UV-A light independently of the white light. Built-in LED arrays eliminate the need to replace bulbs and typically last for years before requiring a replacement driver. These fixtures are commonly used to light and disinfect healthcare facilities, retail stores, fitness centers, and schools. When properly installed by a qualified technician, they comply with IEC 62471 standards for use when people are present.
