Miniature Light Bulbs & Lamps
Miniature light bulbs typically fit into tight spaces for specialized lighting applications. They are differentiated by their base, which determines the type of fixture, equipment, and application that the bulbs are used in. Their trade number provides a reference to find a replacement for an existing bulb. The number may be printed on the lamp itself or in its instruction manual. Lower-wattage miniature lamps draw minimal energy and commonly serve as indicator lights. They are found in vehicles, industrial automation equipment, signal tower and stack lights, flashlights, magnifier lights, and more. Higher-wattage miniature lamps supply the light source for applications such as exam lights, projectors, and stage and studio lighting.
