These accessories and changers are used with light bulbs and lamps to hold them in place, improve their functionality, and help users install and change them safely and efficiently.
Lampholders & Sockets
Lampholders and sockets securely hold a light bulb in place and are connected to a fixture or building wiring to provide power to the bulb. They can be used to replace an existing lampholder or socket or to install a surface-mount socket in an area that needs more light. Lampholders are also known as tombstones.

Safety sleeves and tube holders keep glass shards and phosphors contained when linear light bulbs break, which eases cleanup and helps prevent injuries. These products slip over LED or fluorescent linear bulbs to provide a shatterproof barrier that protects the bulb from impact, damage, dust, and moisture. Colored sleeves tint the light that's emitted from the bulb and can be used in ambient-lighting or accent-lighting applications as well as for marking safety areas, exits, or equipment. Safety sleeves and tube holders are used on linear bulbs in open light fixtures in food-processing plants, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and stores.

Light bulb changers and poles help users install and change screw-in light bulbs in ceiling fixtures and other high places. They eliminate the need for climbing ladders to reach the bulbs, and they allow hot or damaged bulbs to be handled without using hands. They have a long pole with a head on the end that grabs and holds a compatible light bulb so it can be twisted out of the socket and brought to the ground. A new bulb can be placed in the head, and the pole can be used to raise the bulb up to the socket and screw it in.

Linear light bulb fuse kits are installed in fluorescent lighting fixtures that have been rewired to accept ballast-bypass UL Type B LED linear light bulbs. The fuse will cut power to the fixture to protect users from shock and prevent damage to the lighting system if a linear fluorescent light bulb is installed into a fixture that has been modified with this fuse kit. Linear light bulb fuse kits are used in facilities that have recently upgraded their lighting systems from using fluorescent technology to using LED technology and may have multiple people responsible for maintaining those systems.

Lamp occupancy sensors detect motion and turn lights on in response. They attach to a compatible bulb and have settings to control the light output level and how long the light stays on after the sensor detects movement.
