- Standard threaded-body hydraulic cylinders are installed in a threaded bore on a fixture to support, clamp, or eject workpieces. The threaded body is secured to the fixture using standard flange nuts. These compact hydraulic cylinders can be placed close together to provide clamping or support for long workpieces or in high-pressure applications.
- Block-body hydraulic cylinders allow for parallel or perpendicular mounting in relation to piston travel, require no special mounting hardware, and have threaded piston ends for attachment. They can be mounted directly to the top or bottom of a fixture and have a compact design that allows them to be installed in confined spaces. Block-body hydraulic cylinders can be used in medium-cycle, low- and high-pressure applications such as machining, testing stations, and hydraulic presses.
