Swing-clamp hydraulic cylinders rotate in addition to extending and retracting, allowing a clamp to be rotated out of the way while a workpiece is moved onto the fixture. The clamp arm then holds the workpiece in place during the operation. Swing-clamp hydraulic cylinders are used in machining, testing, factory automation, and industrial assembly lines.

Threaded Body Swing Clamp Cylinders
Threaded-body swing-clamp hydraulic cylinders are threaded directly onto a fixture plate or mount and can be height-adjusted by rotating the cylinder on the thread. Bottom ports do not need adjusting when the height is changed. Swing-clamp cylinders rotate as they extend and retract, allowing the workpiece to be placed and removed.
