These centrifugal belt-drive upblast ventilators are designed for use in restaurants, schools, and commercial and industrial applications to help exhaust contaminated air from kitchen range hoods up and away from the roof. Seals are designed to be leakproof, and internal steel support braces with fully rolled windbands help to dramatically increase ventilator rigidity for greater stability during transport and installation. Models with no metal-to-metal contact offer greatly reduced overall noise.
These wall-mounted, belt-drive upblast exhaust ventilators are designed for use in restaurants, schools, commercial, and industrial applications. They can help exhaust contaminated air from kitchen range hoods. A 1-pc. rolled aluminum windband fully welded to the base helps create a virtually leakproof seal between the ventilator and the mounting surface. Motor, drive frame, and blower wheel are isolated from the mounting base by the use of independent neoprene studs. Models with no metal-to-metal contact greatly reduce overall noise. Motor compartments are isolated from the contaminated air stream and are cooled by outside air pulled in through an oversized breather tube by the spinning action of the wheel.
