Electric heaters provide spot, supplemental, or primary heat. Unlike natural gas or liquid propane (LP) heaters, they don't produce any fumes or VOCs, so they can be safely used indoors without the need for venting. Floor heaters as well as wall and ceiling heaters supply extra heat to areas where space is limited. Wall and ceiling heaters can also be used to provide primary heat in large areas like warehouses and garages where central heating is not typically installed. Baseboard heaters can act as a primary or secondary source of heat for small areas and rooms. Plenum heaters provide warmth to concealed or difficult-to-access spaces. Heating cables prevent pipes and roofs from freeze damage. Portable heaters may be moved from space to space wherever heat is needed. Spa and hot tub heaters keep tubs a comfortable temperature.

Portable Standard Electric Jobsite & Garage Heaters
Purchased productsPortable standard electric jobsite and garage heaters have a tubular heating element for high-efficiency heating and use fan-forced air to distribute heat throughout the space. These heaters are protected with an internal thermal cutout, which shuts off the heater in the event of overheating and can be manually reset when the temperature returns to normal. These heaters have a unit-mounted thermostat.Brands
-
Thermostats for Electric Wall & Ceiling Heaters
Purchased productsThese thermostats control the temperature of electric wall and ceiling heaters. The temperature range is digitally or electronically programmed or set with a dial and will turn the heater on and off to maintain the desired temperature.Brands
-
Compact Recessed Electric Wall Heaters
Purchased productsCompact recessed electric wall heaters heat areas with limited installation or mounting space, like restrooms, bedrooms, hallways, or offices. These fan-forced heaters install in an opening in the wall near the floor so heat flows into the space to be heated. They have a built-in thermostat.Brands
-
Large Recessed Electric Wall Heaters
Purchased productsLarge recessed electric wall heaters are larger than compact and register heaters and are used to heat areas like offices, reception rooms, family rooms, and other residential and small commercial spaces. These fan-forced heaters install in an opening in the wall near the floor so heat flows into the space to be heated. These heaters have a built-in thermostat.Brands
-
Mounting Brackets & Frames for Electric Wall & Ceiling Heaters
Purchased productsThese mounting brackets and frames are used to install wall and ceiling heaters. They're used to either complete an initial installation or to modify the mounting style of the heater, such as surface mounting a recessed heater.Brands
-
Register-Style Recessed Electric Wall Heaters
Purchased productsRegister-style recessed electric wall heaters have a grille design similar to most central air vents, so they blend into the room. These heaters are compact and used to heat areas with limited space, like bedrooms, dens, basements, small offices, and other residential and light commercial applications. These fan-forced heaters install in an opening in the wall near the floor so heat flows into the space to be heated. They come with a built-in thermostat.Brands
-
Suspended Electric Wall & Ceiling Unit Heaters
Purchased productsSuspended electric wall and ceiling unit heaters suspend from a bracket or threaded rod for use in downflow or horizontal applications and save limited floorspace. They provide primary or supplementary heating in large or exposed areas like factories, warehouses, and stock rooms. They use a forced air system that heats the air using a heating element and a fan.Brands
-
Hazardous-Location Electric Cabinet Wall Heaters
Purchased productsHazardous-location electric cabinet wall heaters use convection heating to warm the air and don't have moving parts, so they're quieter than unit heaters. They're used in hazardous industrial environments like petroleum refineries, gasoline storage areas, petrochemical facilities, and dry cleaning plants. They mount on the wall to free up floorspace. These heaters do not have a thermostat.Brands
-
Switches for Electric Wall & Ceiling Heaters
Purchased productsThese switches replace worn or damaged switches in electric wall and ceiling heaters. They can turn heaters on or off, disconnect them from power, or run the fan in hot weather.Brands
-
Hazardous-Location Suspended Electric Wall & Ceiling Unit Heaters
Purchased productsThese electric heaters suspend from the wall or ceiling and can be mounted horizontally with an optional bracket, so they take up less room than cabinet heaters. They provide warmth in hazardous industrial environments like petroleum chemical treatment and storage facilities. They use a forced air system to heat the area. These units are controlled with a required wall-mount thermostat.Brands
-
Washdown Electric Wall & Ceiling Unit Heaters
Purchased productsWashdown electric wall and ceiling unit heaters provide warmth in applications where equipment frequently needs to be washed or hosed off, like wastewater treatment plants, coal handling areas, food processing plants, and car washes. They have corrosion-resistant housing and enclosed internal parts to prevent damage. These units may be mounted on walls or ceilings with a mounting bracket to free up floor space. They use a forced air system to heat the area. An internal element heats the air around it, and a fan pushes that hot air into the room. These heaters come with a thermostat.Brands
-
Large Recessed Electric Wall Heaters with Occupancy Sensor
Purchased productsThese large recessed electric wall heaters have an occupancy sensor that turns up the thermostat to the desired temperature when it detects movement. If no movement is detected, it will set the thermostat back to a preset level to save energy costs. These heaters are larger than compact and register heaters and are used to heat areas like offices, reception rooms, family rooms, and other residential and small commercial spaces. These fan-forced heaters install in an opening in the wall near the floor so heat flows into the space to be heated.Brands
-
General Purpose Electric Plenum Heaters
Purchased productsGeneral purpose electric plenum heaters can be installed for free-air discharge or with a duct system to supplement central heating. They heat hard-to-access or concealed areas, such as between a finished and drop ceiling, a plenum space, or other space where there is limited room. The heaters can be rotated on their axis, but they must be suspended horizontally and independently supported. They cannot be mounted vertically.Brands
-
Hazardous-Location Portable Electric Heaters
Purchased productsHazardous-location portable electric heaters have permanently sealed parts to prevent sparking while heating potentially hazardous locations. They can be used where flammable gases, vapors, powdered metals, or dust is present. These heaters are mounted on a lightweight aluminum portable cart so they can be moved wherever extra heat is needed. They are factory wired for direct plug-in and have a cast aluminum Killark male/female connection. These heaters come with a built-in thermostat.Brands
