Float Valves and Accessories
Float valves automatically open or close when a liquid reaches a predetermined level. They can be used for filling control (close on level rise) or drainage control (open on level rise) in open or closed tanks, storage tanks, cooling towers, and reservoirs. Valves are constructed of non-corrosive materials and some models are designed for use with caustic fluids and in sanitary applications. They’re available in several mounting types, sizes, connection types, rod threads, and rod lengths. Some float valves come with an attached float to help speed installation. Choose corrosion-resistant float balls in various diameters, thread types, and thread sizes. Self-contained fill valves employ fluid pressure rather than a lever arm and ball to close the valve. This innovative design features a durable, glass-filled nylon body and corrosion-resistant internal components for long life. Choose Grainger when you need valve floats for use in many of your liquid control applications.
