Parts washing equipment keeps tools and vehicle parts clean, so they work more efficiently and last longer. Parts washers remove dirt, oil, grease, and corrosion from vehicle parts. Cleaning solutions may be water-based (which are better for the environment) or solvent-based (which are chemical compounds for degreasing). Baskets, brushes, and pumps are replaceable components of parts washers. Baskets prevent parts from scratching or damaging the parts washer tank, and ease objects into and out of the parts washer. Brushes work in tandem with sprayers and soaking baskets to remove built-up grease, dirt, and grime. Pumps circulate cleaning solutions throughout a washing unit until parts are clean.
