Order LookupCotter Pins
Available247 products
Cotter pins, also called split pins, insert into holes in clevis pins, shafts, and other components to lock components in place. They feature a split-end design that inserts through the mounting surface, expands on the back side, and is folded back to prevent the pin from pulling out. This provides a solid yet removable connection between the components being assembled.
System of Measurement
Extended-Prong Cotter Pins
Extended prong cotter pins are similar to standard cotter pins but are manufactured with longer legs. They are specialty items used for custom manufacturing and repair work because they can be cut to size.

Bridge Pins
Bridge pins, also called R-clips or hitch pin clips, insert into the ends of hitch or clevis pins to secure them in place. They feature a wave-patterned leg that secures the pin and resists pull-out from vibration and accidental contact.
