Anchors for Drywall & Plaster

Available10 products
These anchors install into plaster or drywall surfaces and do not require a stud to be secured. Depending on the type, they can either act as an interface between a screw and the mounting surface or be inserted through the surface and grip it from behind as they are tightened.

Hammer-In Plug Anchors

Hammer-In Plug Anchors
Hammer-in plug anchors are driven into the mounting surface without a pre-drilled pilot hole. They are installed with a hammer and sit flush with the mounting surface. The mounting screw is driven into their opening, forcing the wing on the back side to press against the mounting surface, securing the anchor.

Standard Self-Threading Anchors

Standard Self-Threading Anchors

Standard self-threading anchors embed directly into the mounting surface and create a solid mounting point. These anchors do not require a pilot hole for installation as they are self-drilling and self-tapping. Once installed, a screw is driven through the mounted item and into the opening on the anchor, securing it into place.

Removable sleeve anchors, sometimes called molly screws, insert into holes in the mounting surface and provide a mounting point for screws. They feature a segmented sleeve that expands and grips the mounting surface when their screws are tightened into place. These anchors are removable and can be reused multiple times.
