VHF Business Radios
VHF business radios allow a wide range of frequency settings for communication out in the field or around wood outbuildings. They operate in the very-high frequency (VHF) band that produces signals with greater reach in flat, outdoor areas than the ultra-high frequency (UHF) band. Their superior outdoor range makes them ideal for line-of-sight road flagging, construction, and farming applications. These two-way radios transmit and receive messages over radio frequencies that work where cellular coverage may be spotty, overloaded, or unavailable. VHF radios require a license, which is managed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The license authorizes use and allows assigning specific frequencies and privacy codes that prevent interference to support clear, uninterrupted communication.
