36 products
Medium-voltage fuse cutout links protect against overcurrent in medium-voltage primary-side transformers, feeder lines, and capacitor banks. These fuse links are the replaceable element used in a fuse cutout assembly, which consists of the link, a frame, and a fuse holder. They are expulsion fuses that limit the duration of an overcurrent but not its magnitude.
Fast Acting Cutout Links
Fast-acting fuse cutout links are Type K or N links that open within seconds of being exposed to overcurrent for protecting medium-voltage equipment such as capacitors and transformers. They are highly sensitive to changes in current flow and don't tolerate temporary overload currents or power surges.

Time Delay Cutout Links
Time-delay fuse cutout links are Type T links that tolerate temporary inrush currents without opening, which prevents nuisance-blowing from motor and equipment startups. These slow-acting links coordinate with relays for line protection. They open to disconnect an electrical circuit when exposed to sustained loads and short circuits.
