Wire connectors attach to the end of stripped and solid conductors to extend, terminate or splice, and cap off connections. Twist-on wire connectors spin by hand around one or more wires to make connections. Butt splice wire connectors attach conductors end to end to make parallel (in-line) connections. Insulation-displacement wire connectors have an insulated body with a splicing mechanism that makes contact with a wire's conductor without having to strip its sheath. Push-in wire connectors have ports where conductors push in by hand. Closed-end crimp connectors have compact sizes ideal for confined spaces. Splice cap crimp wire connectors and insulators compress tightly to make permanent holds ideal for long-term or vibrating applications.
