Splice cap crimp wire connectors and insulators create permanent electrical and ground connections between conductors to extend, cap off, or terminate them. Also known as crimp sleeves, they compress on the conductors with a crimping tool and provide a vibration-resistant, insulated hold suitable for long-term applications such as OEM wiring, small motors, and signage. Splice caps are barrel-shaped connectors with openings on both ends where stripped, twisted-together conductors insert and get crimped to splice and hold them. Next, a shell is put over the splice to insulate and protect the connection.
