Closed-end crimp wire connectors create permanent connections between one or more wires using crimping tools to extend or cap off live connections. Also known as wire joints, they have compact sizes ideal for confined spaces such as outlets, lighting fixtures, and machinery. They have an opening on the bottom side of their shell body where the stripped, twisted-together conductors insert, and an internal, beveled metal sleeve that compresses with a crimping tool to hold and splice the conductors.
