29 products
Butt splice compression connectors make permanent in-line connections between industrial cables to extend or splice power and ground connections in high-voltage or heavier gauge applications like commercial lighting, electrical panels, and industrial machinery. Also known as compression splices, they consist of a hollow metal barrel with openings on both ends where the cables insert into each end and butt against each other. Next, the connector is crimped with a die component and tool to create a solid, uniform bond with the cables and prevent them from pulling out. Their bodies have color-coded bands and markings that identify where to compress and which die component and tool to use.
