Concrete Prep Abrasives for Heavy-Duty Machines
These concrete preparation abrasives attach to heavy-duty floor machines such as single-disc machines and large ride-on scrubbers with 300 lb. or more of downward pressure. Their blades withstand greater weight and pressure than standard-duty prep abrasives but remain flexible to profile low spots. Concrete preparation abrasives etch bare concrete floors to leave a clean surface profile for coating. They grind floors to a rough texture that exposes pores, so coatings penetrate to enhance adhesion. Also known as concrete profiling abrasives, they provide a more uniform grind for better coating adhesion than chemical etching.
