Do you carry the air conditioners that fit the whole side of a slider window about 21 inches by 38 inches? We saw one some years ago but do not have a manufactures name and have not seen one
in the local stores. If you don't carry them, do you know who does?

Thanks.

Hello. What you are referencing sounds like a Packaged Terminal Air Conditiioner or PTAC as they are referred to. Unfortunately, I do not know of any in the dimensions you are describing. An example item number would be 13P469.

We have another 10,000 BTU unit, item #22XR87 that you can take a look at. If you would like to go up in BTU's there are other options. In the search box at the top of any Grainger.com page, if you enter" Freidrick a/c unit Wallmaster", it will bring up a search page with results that you can narrow down on the left hand side to find the unit that will work best for you. Answer:
I always use cardboard or foam. If that doesn't work it maybe an internal part vibrating that you can fold a piece of paper up and shove under to dampen the vibration or if its a rotating mechanism then get some lard or Crisco and rub on it to take of the problem. Safety first disconnect all power and discharge any circuits.

It has no frame--just a piece of this material that you can vacuum or wash. I found an old ac that had this material w frame. So I cut it to fit. But I need a new one.
I called Whirlpool and this little piece of material costs $52.00.
I was thinking that maybe someone sold this type of material for other various uses.

In my condo, there is a air conditioning drip pan in the cieling, that is leaking. I think it needs a new pan. I got it replaced 2 years ago and it looks like it s corroded again. I am thinking to put a plastic one this time so it won't corrode again. Please let me know if you guys do this kind of work. Pan dimension are approx: 50"x12"x2".
Please let me know.
Thanks

Answer:
Plastic is preferred. My question is why is your secondary pan filling up with water? The air handler drain pan has a primary drain and a secondary outlet. When the primary drain is clogged the water level rises and comes out of the secondary drain. I have installed float safety switches on the secondary outlet to shut off the unit and prevent water damage to the area. If this pan is a secondary, have your problem fixed first. Grainger does not do on site work.

Answer:
You need to call an AC technician first of all to get there expert opinion. I'll give you mine for free. Here it goes. There should be a switch on the drip pan that shuts down the unit when the drip pan fills and is not draining. Obviously your drain line is clogged or is not plumbed just right. My crystal ball tells me some good ol' bleach poured down the drain line will unclog that line, let you pan dry. Next get you some liquid nails, or bondo, and patch that rust spot. Then after all that dries, seal up the spot with silicon including the corners of the pan. Next go have a drink and enjoy some cold AC. Next question, cause I'm on a roll.

Your options are limited. A portable 12,000 btu unit runs off 120 volts and needs a 6 inch hole for the heat exhaust duct to vent outside. They run about $500.
